Note-taking is a powerful tool to motivate students to share with their peers and foster discussion. In Actively Learn, notes are fully visible in the margin of the text.
STEP 1: Highlight the text and select "Highlight and take note"
STEP 2: Add text, select category, choose to share with class, and add media.

You can respond to notes created by your teacher or classmates. Click to open the note, and enter a reply.

Hide notes shared by your classmates by clicking on the minimize icon
You can also see a summary view of all notes inside an assignment
In the Notes summary you can view either "All notes" or only your notes
You can also choose to print your Notes summary
